Bastian Schweinsteiger apologizes via fb-video:
“I want to apologize to all fans, officials and players of Borussia Dortmund. I don’t want to whitewash anything, it’s a well-known fan-song, but I don’t want to insult someone with that in any kind of way. It’s very important for me to say so. I get along very well with all players of Borussia Dortmund, especially Kevin Großkreutz. It was an unfortunate situation, sorry for that again, but I hope the fans will understand. Best regards and I hope that everything will come right again.”

I will never forget the very moment in the Maracana stadium in which I was allowed to lift the World Cup trophy. It’s starting to sink in, slowly, but steadily, that we have finally made it. Actually: All the effort, concentration, stuggle has paid off. All the pressure disappeared. Basti, Miro, Per, Thomas and Manuel were approaching me, saying thank you, it was coming from the bottom of their hearts, that means a lot to me. I’m not that kind of person that forgets everything around them during celebrations, but being World Champion feels indescribably wonderful.
